5-Day Breakfast Plan

August 5, 2014 By Exploring Healthy Foods 8 Comments

This months Nutrition Challenge is to eat breakfast every morning! How have you done so far? Today, I want to share with you a 5-day breakfast plan that will give you quick, easy and healthy breakfast ideas. I’ve also included a grocery list at the bottom of the post. Preparation is key to eating a healthy breakfast as so many of us are pressed for time in the mornings. Check out my last post with more tips to help you plan a healthy breakfast!

Now it’s not necessary to have different breakfasts each day of the week but I wanted to give a variety of ideas. If there’s something you really like, eat that 3-4 times a week. Switch it up every once in awhile to ensure your consuming a variety of vitamins and minerals and to also make sure you don’t get sick of a certain food!

I should really switch my breakfasts up… I eat the same thing every day (just mix up the fruit!)

What are your thoughts on chia pudding. I have been eating it everyday with fruits such as blueberries or raspberries?

Hey Kendell! Chia seeds are a great source of protein, healthy fats, fibre and many vitamins and minerals. Definitely a superfood! Not sure what else is in your chia pudding but if it’s whole foods then definitely a great way to start the day! I will have to try some chia pudding myself, sounds delicious!

    Hey Brittney,
I can’t wait to try your recipes. I’m so excite. I love chi and hemp in my smoothies. What advice can you give me on coconut oil? I use olive oils when I need to but I do enjoy the taste of coconut oil and the different ways you can cook with it or add into my health foods. I’m so glad to be checking out your site I very much enjoy eating healthy now I have some awesome reciepies to try out. Yay… :-)

      Hey Jackie!!
I love coconut oil! I’ve used it when making dessert, roasting vegetables, pastas, smoothies and when making popcorn and it turned out great. I find olive oil really good when using high heat like in stir frys.
Thanks so much for checking it out!! :)
