Green Carrot – Juice Company

January 11, 2016 By Exploring Healthy Foods Leave a Comment

The next time you’re in the Osborne Village area in Winnipeg and looking for healthy juices, smoothie or quick lunch, I highly recommend checking out Green Carrot. It’s Winnipeg’s first company to offer cold-pressed juice along with other organic & fresh menu items.  They have a cozy sitting area for those wanting to stay but all menu items are ready to drink or eat on the go. Perfect stop when wanting a healthy juice, snack or lunch!

The Green Carrot Winnipeg

Menu

Cold pressed juice, smoothies, acai bowls, energizers to add to smoothies and/or acai bowls (hemp protein, organic chia seeds, organic goji berries, etc.), nourish shots, infused water, tea, organic oatmeal, salads & sandwiches. More details here.

Menu items range from $4-$12 with most juices costing around $8 and smoothies around $7.

What is Cold-Pressed Juice?

Essentially cold-pressed juice is not pasteurized or heated therefore provides nutrient rich juice. More about cold-pressed juices here.

Why I enjoy supporting Green Carrot

Green Carrot provides products with the freshest produce available and tries to source locally organic ingredients when possible. All ingredients are in their raw state, therefore do not contain additives, preservatives and have not been heated or pasteurized. The service at Green Carrot is always friendly & very helpful. They have two locations in Winnipeg and you can also find their juices at various places around the city {see locations below}.
Their menu items are more expensive than typical fast food because they offer REAL ingredients & quality produce. As much as I enjoying making my own smoothies, I enjoy having the options at Green Carrot when I am not in the mood to pull out the juicer, blender or when I need something while out and about!
