The Sweet Citrus Juice Recipe | The Juice Truck

September 9, 2017 By Exploring Healthy Foods Leave a Comment

The Juice Truck Review
With the back to school season here, I thought it would be a good idea to share one of my favourite cookbooks that focuses on juices and smoothies!

Zach Berman and Ryan Slater launched The Juice Truck in Vancouver to provide Canadians with cold-pressed juice. They’ve teamed up with health coach, Colin Medhurst to create this cookbook that not only includes many juice and smoothie recipes, but also how to incorporate healthy habits into your life.

The cookbook is full of colour which means recipes are loaded with nutrients and plant power! As you go through the cookbook, there are many case studies by experts in fields such as sleep, yoga, food allergies, intolerance, and much more. These case studies are very relatable and provide bullet point advice on the subject.

My personal favourite recipes in this cookbook is The Sweet Citrus because it is loaded with pineapple and other sweet fruits! The combo of sweet fruits with carrots and ginger makes the perfect tasting juice!?
The publisher was kind enough to let me share the recipe from the cookbook with all of you so here is The Sweet Citrus juice recipe:

If anyone is in the market for a new cookbook focusing on juices, I highly recommend this one! Perfect if you are a beginner juicer or long time juicer!

Have you checked out this cookbook or been to The Juice Truck in Vancouver?
