Description

This Perfectly Roasted Asparagus recipe is made with simple ingredients and is ready in less than 25 minutes. It’s the perfect side dish for any weeknight or holiday spread!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bunch of asparagus spears (about 1 lb)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • salt
  • pepper

After cooking

  • 1 fresh lemon slice (about 1 tbsp)
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F and line large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash asparagus and snap the ends off. Pat dry, and lay on baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper.
  4. Place in oven for 12 minutes.
  5. After cooking, sprinkle with fresh lemon juice and parsley.

Best served immediately after cooking.

Notes

If your asparagus is very thin, reduce cooking time to 10 minutes.
