Chocolate Banana Nut Overnight Oats

Description

Chocolate Banana Nut Overnight Oats are a healthy breakfast idea that is great for meal prep. Loaded with chocolate flavour, creamy texture and the toppings are endless!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup Silk Dark Chocolate Almond Milk
  • 1/2 cup plain or vanilla flavoured yogurt
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 banana, mashed
  • 2 tbsp of nuts {choose from pecans, walnuts, almonds, etc}

Toppings: add some extra cinnamon, yogurt and/or cacao nibs!


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine oats, chocolate almond milk, yogurt, chia seeds, cinnamon and nutmeg. Place in fridge overnight or for a least 2 hours (allow the oats to absorb the almond milk).
  2. When ready to eat, mix in mashed banana and nuts. Top with extra cinnamon, yogurt, banana and cacao nibs.

Notes

  • If you can’t find Silk Chocolate Almond Milk, any chocolate milk will work!
