Description

Crispy Quinoa Chocolate Puffs recipe is the perfect dessert to satisfy a sweet tooth!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups quinoa puffs
  • 1/4 cup Manitoba Harvest hemp hearts
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup brown rice syrup
  • Toppings
  • 2 cup dark chocolate chips, melted

Instructions

  1. In a small sauce pan, melt peanut butter and brown rice syrup until peanut butter has become a thick liquid and has combined with brown rice syrup (about 10 minutes).
  2. While that is melting, in a medium bowl combine quinoa puffs, hemp hearts and peanut butter/brown rice syrup once it’s done melting.
  3. Stir together until everything is sticking together.
  4. Spray an 8×8 baking pan with coconut oil spray and add mixture to pan.
  5. Press mixture into pan and even out with hands.
  6. Top with melted dark chocolate and place in fridge for about 30 minutes (until firm).
  7. Remove from fridge, cut and serve.
