It’s already APRIL! I can’t believe it!
Today I will be sharing some of my favourite things from the month of March! It’s a fairly lengthy post so let’s get right to it!
Podcasts
Normally I listen to music when I am walking/on breaks/working/washing dishes/around the house…pretty much anytime! But lately I have really been into listening to podcasts! I have narrowed it down to my top two favourite series to listen to this month which are: the Wellness Wonderland Radio (WWRadio) and The Food Blogger Pro Podcast. The Wellness Wonderland hosted by Katie Dalebout, is a podcast where Katie interviews bloggers/authors/entrepreneurs and others about health and spirituality. The Food Blogger Pro Podcast hosted by Bjork Ostrom {Lindsay from Pinch of Yum’s husband- more on her two paragraphs down!} is all about bloggers/entrepreneurs wanting to grow their blog and learn techy stuff behind a blog.
PS. If you are new to podcasts you can easily download the Podcast app {or it actually might already be downloaded} onto your Iphone. Podcasts are free so you can just download the ones you want to listen to!
Do you listen to podcasts? If so I would love to know which ones!
Fable Naturals
A couple months ago Fable Naturals sent me an email asking if I would like to try any of their products. I had never heard of this skin care line, so before accepting I browsed their website and was happy to find that all their products that are organic, fair trade, contain plant-based ingredients AND are based in Vancouver, Canada! I love finding Canadian companies that offer plant-based products that are affordable.
Green Tea and Clay Rejuvenating Mask
I absolutely love this mask! I know many people use face masks at night, but I like this one in the morning because it helps even out skin tone {and reduce redness!}. Simply combined the product with a bit of water to get a thin paste.
Full product description & ingredients here.
Quinoa and Almond Fresh Skin Exfoliant | Really nice gental face exfoliant
Apricot and Olive Nourishing Body Oil | Fast absorbing oil for quick hydration
Lemon Coconut Lip Balm | Nourishing balm that smells amazing!

Pinch of Yum Workshop
This past month I went to Minneapolis for the Pinch of Yum Tasty Food Photography Workshop. Lindsay from Pinch of Yum taught this workshop. She is the ULTIMATE food photographer. She went over the basics of using the manual settings on a DSLR camera, lighting, styling and editing. Within the first 15 minutes of her teaching, I had already learned so much. She goes over the bare basics and gets right to what you need to know to get a good photo.
Last week I posted my first blog posts shooting in manual mode and I am very happy on how they turned out! All thanks to this workshop!
Here are a few pictures from the weekend in the AMAZING Pinch of Yum Studio.
