Good morning!
Some of my favorite posts to read from other bloggers are monthly favorite posts, so I figured I would share some of my favorite things from the month of January. This month I have a variety of foods, hair products and fitness program I want to share!
Let’s begin with food! I mean this is a food blog after all!
Food
barkTHINS | These are an amazing bite size snack that can definitely satisfy a sweet tooth! They come in a variety of flavors; so far I have tried Dark Chocolate Almond with Sea Salt & Dark Chocolate Pumpkin Seed with Sea Salt. Both delicious! I have only been able to find these at Costco!
Neal Brothers Salsa | I have at least one or two of these jars in my fridge at any given time. I go through a lot of salsa so I love that this particular brand contains quality ingredients. I find mine at Superstore in the organic aisle.
Oranges | Grocery stores are raining citrus this time of year! Very affordable & refreshing to eat first thing in the morning! Not too mention loaded with nutrients.
Exercise
As much as I enjoy going to the gym for a good workout- sometimes it is just too cold to leave the house! I registered for Barre3 online classes over a month ago and could not be happier with their online classes. The classes rage from 10-60 minutes and can be done at any time. Some require props but you can easily use things around the house in place of them.
Hair Products
On Boxing Day I bravely ventured out to the mall and picked up three Verb products. Verb products are cruelty-free, contain no sulfates, parabens or gluten. They are a bit pricier than drug store shampoo/conditioners but much cheaper than salon products. I was happy to see on Boxing Day that they were 25% off, so of course I had to get my hands on these three essentials. I am extremely picky when it comes to conditioner as I have long highlighted hair that gets tangled very easily. This conditioner not only helps my hair with tangles but it also leave it feeling soft and shinny! The shampoo also leaves my hair feeling soft and clean {not straw-like, like some shampoos!}. Overall, I highly recommend trying out Verb products!!

Recipe Fail
I have been trying to create a simply, no bake valentines day treat. I have a certain vision and ingredients I want to incorporate to make something unique. It doesn’t look bad and tastes delicious but it was a gooey mess trying to eat it. Thankfully while trying to develop this recipe, I managed to create a healthy whip cream topping, which I will be sharing next week!
I would love to hear some of your favorite things from the month of January! Leave me a comment below!
