Hope everyone had a great Halloween! Today I am sharing the perfect post-Halloween-candy-hangover breakfast! It is super refreshing and loaded with many nutrients! I like to use protein powders in various recipes a few times per week and lately I have been adding them to almost every smoothie I make. The smoothie that I am sharing today is basically an everyone-will-love smoothie as long as you like strawberries and bananas! It is sweet tasting with hidden greens {a handful of fresh spinach!}.
I personally really like this smoothie right after a workout or as a quick breakfast when I am running out the door.
Protein Powders
I am going to write a whole blog post about protein powders because the protein supplement world can be a little intimidating if you have never purchased or tried any. I highly recommend plant-based protein powders such as Vega, Perfect Fit, Manitoba Harvest and Plant Fusion. I have tried various products from these brands and really enjoy the quality and taste of them. For this recipe I was using Vanilla protein powder by Perfect Fit. One scoop of this protein powder adds 15g of plant-based protein! For more information on protein please see this post here!
